How I Work For You

Financial Planning throughout one’s life cycle

The process begins with the initial interview. The initial interview is the most important part of the process. It is very important that I know where a prospective client is and what their future goals are.  From there I follow a 6 step process.

Step One:  Establishing and defining the client-planner relationship.

 I’ll sit down with you and explain or document the services to be provided to you and define both of our responsibilities.

Step Two:  Gathering client data, including goals.

 I will ask more information about your financial situation.  You and I should mutually define your personal and financial goals, understand your time frame for results and discuss, if relevant, how you feel about risk.

Step Three:  Analyzing and evaluating your financial status.

I’ll analyze your information to access your current situation and determine what you must do to meet your goals. Depending on what service you have asked for, this could include analyzing your assets, liabilities and cash flow, current insurance coverage, investment or tax strategies.

Step Four:  Developing and presenting financial planning recommendations and / or alternatives.

 I offer financial planning recommendations that address your goals, based on the information you provide. I go over the recommendations with you to help you understand them so that you can make informed decisions. I’ll listen to your concerns and revise the recommendations as appropriate.

Step Five:  Implementing and financial planning recommendations.

 You and I should agree on how the recommendations will be carried out. I may carry out the recommendations or serve as your “coach,” coordination with you and other you and other professionals.
